Brenda Barrett
B.A.,B.Dent.Sc.,T.C.D.1988,P.G.Dip.Clin.Dent.T.C.D.
Brenda graduated with honours from Trinity College Dublin in
1988. She spent 5 years in the UK in general practice and another two years
undergoing postgraduate training at the Eastman Dental Hospital in London. She
then returned to her home town of Carlow, taking over the practice in 1995 and
has expanded and developed it since. Keenly interested in postgraduate
education, she studied for the Diploma In Clinical Dentistry from her old Alma
Mater, Trinity College, and was awarded the Diploma in 2002. She regularly
attends postgraduate courses in Ireland and abroad to keep abreast of the latest
technologies and has recently completed a year long course in Dental
Implantology.
Caroline Robins
B.D.S
[University of Otago 1996],F.D.S.,R.C.S.I.
Caroline qualified in Dentistry from the University of Otago
in New Zealand in 1998.She worked in hospital dentistry and general practice in
both New Zealand and Australia gaining a wealth of experience before coming to
to Ireland in 2000.She spent two years working in the Oral Medicine and Oral
Surgery Departments of the Dublin Dental Hospital before attaining the
Fellowship of Dentistry [FDS] from the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland. She
joined Pembroke Dental Centre in 2002 and enjoys all aspects of dental care. She
too is keenly interested in postgraduate education.
Lisa Walshe
B.A.,B.Dent.Sc.
Lisa qualified from Trinity College Dublin in 2007 and immediately commenced a
year long postgraduate course in general dental practice. She joined the
practice in 2009 and has a keen interest in all aspects of dental care
especially restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She regularly attends
postgraduate courses as part of her commitment to her profession.
Paediatric (Children's) Dentist
Aifric Ni Chaollai
Practice Limited To Children's Dentistry
Aifric is a Paediatric Dentist who exclusively treats children up to 16 years of age. She has recently completed a Masters Degree in Paediatric Dentistry at the Leeds Dental Institute and has also been awarded the Membership in Paediatric Dentistry Examination at the Royal College of Surgeons, London and Glasgow. Prior to this, her work since her graduation from Trinity College Dublin in 2000 has been primarily with children. She has worked as a dental registrar at Our Lady's Hospital ,Crumlin and at the Dublin Dental Hospital. She currently works in private practice.

Dr.Muhammad Israr has commenced practice here and caters for our oral
surgery needs such as difficult and complicated surgical extractions
including wisdom teeth and impacted teeth.
He also has a special interest in Oral Medicine and has the backup of
the facilities of St. James's Hospital where he currently works in the
maxillofacial department.
He has extensive training in oral surgery from London and Dublin and
is a welcome addition to our team. He accepts full payment from the
VHI, Aviva and Hibernian Health Insurance companies.

Dr. Maher Kemmoona M.Dent.Ch (Periodontist)
Practice limited to Implantology and Periodontology
Maher Kemmoona was born in the west of Ireland and emigrated in 1979 to Germany.
He graduated at the University of Erlangen-Nuernberg in 1999 as a general dentist and worked both in general and specialist practice (Periodontics/Prosthodontics) in Germany for 3 years prior to returning to Ireland where he worked initally in Galway.
In 2004 he joined the Postgraduate programme for Periodontology and Implantology at Trinity College Dublin graduating in 2007.
Since then he has been engaged in private practice limited to Periodontology and Implant Dentistry and undertakes both the surgical and prosthetic phase of implant placement.He also treats advanced periodontal disease.

Maghnus O'Donnell

Maghnus qualified as a general dentist from Trinity College
Dublin in 1987 and immediately embarked on a specialist training programme in
London to become a qualified Orthodontist .He became a specialist Orthodontist
in 1994 and attained his Membership Examinations in Orthodontics also from
London, Edinburgh and Dublin. He then commenced practice in The Northbrook
Clinic in Ranelagh, Dublin as well as joining Pembroke Dental Centre. He has
also taught Orthodontics at the Dublin Dental Hospital.

Val qualified as a Dental Hygienist from Glasgow in1993 and
joined our Practice in 2004. Val is specially trained to successfully manage the
Oral Health needs of our patients. With extensive experience in this area Val
will help you achieve a healthy and fresh smile. With our commitment to further
training and development Val provides the latest cutting edge treatments to our
patients with a gentle approach.
Val’s role as hygienist is to care for all ages from kids to adults. Assessing
your Oral health and designing a specific Oral health programme to match your
needs. Whether it is applying coatings on kids teeth to protect them from decay,
dietary analysis or demonstrating up to date techniques and brushes to help
reach those awkward spaces! Treatment required will be discussed with you and
any queries answered. While putting you at your ease undertake routine scaling
and polishing as well as advanced hygiene treatments helping to provide a fresh
and healthy smile.
The Dental Hygienist can also help with the everyday discomfort of sensitivity.
By advising you how to reduce acidic challenges in your diet, changing Oral
hygiene techniques and use of specific products to use, we can alleviate this
